There are very few things in life I have trepidation about of but one of them is public speaking…
I can pen words on paper until the cows come home but ask me to speak them, in front of people and it turns me into jelly!
I was invited to be interviewed for an Australian radio show and even though I contemplated not doing it, I thought now is the time to confront my fears, as now I actually have something to share that I’m passionate about (not like when I appeared on Radio 1 years ago talking about denim and wishing the ground would swallow me up).
So, here’s what happened when I chatted to Denis Walter on his ‘Afternoon with Denis Walter’ show on 3AW 693.. after a cautious start I gain momentum, and I’m happy with the result.
