With a bang? Two babies, a new house and a whole load of toddler tantrums has seen me ready to return to the world of work. Not an easy decision and not an easy task as a parent who has been out of the swing of it for several years. Don’t get me wrong, I have loved every (read 90%) minute of maternity leave, there are so many things I will miss, all the challenges but work is a calling…time to balance my needs with the needs of the family.

Every parents dream that has given me a flexible way back in.
My first week has been brill. I packed all the bags and made the lunches the night before so it was a smooth up, coffee and out the house. We dropped the kids at my parents (thanks mum…top nonna), Michael (husband/chauffeur) dropped me at the business park, breakfast and a walk before sitting down at my new desk. I spent Monday acquainting myself with Linked In, the brand and my new bosses, Tuesday felt more natural and Thursday I felt right at home.
