Bad Mother Short Film – help us!

We are two London actresses about to make the film BAD MOTHER; a ten min drama about motherhood.

It’s every parents nightmare, when you think your kids have been taken; and it’s based on a true story.  We have written three dimensional mothers; some thing the industry is lacking. So few films out there are written by women about motherhood, but we simply can’t make it with out the support. We have 7 days left to raise the funds  so can you help and throw in a fiver or share our crowdfunding link ? 

We are giving 10% of any money raised for our film to Pregnant Then Screwed, the organisation to end pregnancy/maternity discrimination, who have just featured on the BBC, in the FT and other national press coverage.

For the next week we are giving away the chance to win a baby grow courtesy of the above, if people donate along other perks, like babysitting even!

We want to make a film that reflects motherhood in actuality, as opposed to the underwritten female characters, seen so often on screen; something people will identify with.

We have great women attached to this film, who are equally driven to show, complex women who are mothers up on screen, throughthe characters we have written. We are looking for more to join our voice. We feel passionately that we can make a highly professional, thought provoking film.

The film asks if the ‘‘hood’ in motherhood exists in 2018?  The viewer will also go on a mini roll coaster, as we play with their judgment as to who is a bad mother in the film.
