Emma Hart, Creative Director of Push PR, shares highlights of taking daughter Scarlett, 6, and Sonny, 3, for a weekend at London Fashion Week
• I had such ’guilty mum syndrome’ as I was working long hours in the run up to London Fashion Week that I started making the kids elaborate breakfasts to make up for it – smoked salmon and scrambled eggs before school. I’m sure they thought I’d gone a bit loopy.
• Scarlett had been excited about going to London Fashion Week for a while, and woke up that morning saying ’I want to be fashionable.’

She chose her favourite outfit – Nike Hi Tops, leopardprint leggings, a tutu, and a denim jacket.
• Saturday morning is family time, but it was also the first day of London Fashion Week. I wanted my team to have excitement and enthusiasm around LFW but also wanted to see my kids after a hectic week’s work – so we had a team + family brunch at Machiavellis. It was a win win, the team doted on the kids, and they in turn were excited about EVERYTHING.
• After brunch we went for a work appointment at Eileen Fischer shop in Covent Garden, a brand

we represent. The Push girls looked after Scarlett and Sonny while I tried on clothes. I wondered why I’d never combined work and childcare before! Scarlett loves hanging out with the Push team. My favourite photo of the day is her looking up at them in total girl crush way.
• We went to Fashion Scout where we saw shows by Ashley Isham, Yong Kyun Shin and Eugene Lin. Scarlett kept asking why I wasn’t on the catwalk. I didn’t know how to break it to her that I’m about 15 years over the age of the average model…

talking to after Eugene Lin thought it was hilarious when I opened by handbag to retrieve my phone and instead pulled out Sonny’s Spiderman toy. I also had a motorbike in there, and half-eaten bits of the kids’ packed lunch. Oh the glamour.
• Lots of bloggers took photos of Scarlett as she was the youngest person there. Some told her she should start her own fashion blog. I said ’over my dead body.’
• LFW for me has definitely changed since becoming a mum. I won’t go to parties for parties sake like I used to, I’d rather be at home to do

the bedtime as that is far more precious. However, I had to go to the Belstaff party on the Sunday night to meet a client and ended up rubbing shoulders with David Beckham. I’d squeezed in lunch with my family that afternoon… and smelt of roast dinners. I’m not sure if he noticed.
