Choosing a Baby Carrier (the stress)

Prices from John Lewis
So, Simon and I spent our Saturday afternoon in a John Lewis store trying and testing LOTS of baby carriers. We knew we wanted one, and it was an essential on our baby shopping list so we thought it best to try before we buy.
We had ideas of what we liked. Simon liked the look of the more natural wrap types and I liked the idea of having padding on the shoulders for those long walks and when the baby gets a little bigger. So, we had a big list of what we would like from the carrier before we had even tried to

put one on.
First things first, it needs to be easy enough to put on when you are the only one around. I’m not sure that the baby is going to help with the putting on process and strapping its self in.
Second, it needs to last more than the first few months of the babies life. Living in London, being able to carry the little one around at an older age will make travel on the tube a lot easier.
Thirdly, it needs to be comfy and snug for the baby and mama/papa!
Lastly, it needs to look aesthetically pleasing and I don’t want it to

be ’clunky’.
With all of this in mind, we tried many different ones on and here is my verdict.
Baby Bjorn One
Price
£134.99
(I bought it on Amazon for £97)
LOVE!
· Ease of clipping it together (only need one hand!)
· Easy for when you have to put it on alone
· Comfy for the baby
· Use for most ages/stages
· Different carry positions
Hmmm…
· Everyone has them (but I see why now)

A little about myself, always scary writing these sorts of things. My name is Emma and I am a mum to a beautifully perfect little girl.
My husband Simon and I recently moved (2017) into London from Surrey (yes, most people are shocked that we seem to have done it backwards, but we are originally from the Lake District and have seen enough fields and cows for now) so I am slowly learning the area and the best places for tea and cake, and a good brunch! Shout out if you live near Balham and know any good places for me to try out!
Harri, the perfect little human that entered our world on the 6th January 2018 made me a mum. I cannot even put into words what love I feel for the little cutie pie.
I have a site called Mummy Moo. The name 'Mummy Moo' comes from the nickname that my husband and I have for one another. He started to moo like a cow when I was being a moody cow and it always made me laugh. Ever since, we have called one another Moo. Now we have Harri, she is our mini Moo.
