We offer the one day intensive Paediatric First Aid course for child carers looking to register on the Ofsted voluntary register and a superb blended learning enabling child carers to fulfil the requirements of the compulsory and Early Years Ofsted registration by completing 6 hours online pre-learning and then choosing one of our one day scheduled courses to be awarded a 12 hour Paediatric Certificate on the day of your practical course.

First Aid for Life have trained thousands of Child Carers from Schools, Nurseries, Childminders, Nannies, Au Pairs, Teachers and other parents and childcare professionals wishing to gain the skills and confidence to provide immediate medical care in an emergency.

You will be awarded your Paediatric First Aid Certificate on the day, this certificate is valid for 3 years.

The course covers the full Paediatric First Aid Ofsted syllabus, satisfying the requirements of the Ofsted Childcare register and the DfES Approved Carers Scheme. This course can be used as evidence for employees working towards the NVQ in Childcare and Education.

Our Paediatric First Aid courses are run on the same day as our full day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course as the syllabus is extremely similar and both cover adult, baby and child first aid – the course will always be tailored to your needs.
