Please join Croydon Cycle Theatre for “The Village”, an evening of entertainment and discussion to mark Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week and World Maternal Mental Health Day.
The evening will feature comedy, performance, music, and an expert panel to explore the week’s theme of “Support for All”, share experiences, and raise awareness of maternal mental health.
Featuring performances from comedian Hatty Ashdown, poet Lucy Zion, journalist Ros Ball and Tranquil Birth’s Sakina Ballard alongside a panel discussion on improving maternal mental health services for all in Croydon.
Joining our panel will be:
Dr Rebecca Moore – consultant perinatal psychiatrist
Anya Hayes – women’s health campaigner and author of The Supermum Myth
Rose Syrett, lead midwife at the Croydon Crocus team
Angela Martin, one of the founders of The Croydonist
Sakina Ballard and Lucy Zion
Proceeds from tickets sales and a raffle to be held on the night will benefit the specialist Mother and Baby Unit at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
