Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do
1
What does exercise mean to you? Is it something other people do? Is it a chore? It is something you do just to lose weight and get thinner?
Any of the above and you could well be selling it short. Super short 🙂
You can………..
Exercise to get fitter, healthier and stronger.
Exercise to meet new people.
Exercise to socialise.
Exercise to find something new to do with old friends.
Exercise to show gratitude for having a healthy body.
Exercise to have fun with your kids.
Exercise to spend time with your other half.

Exercise to relieve just a little bit of the stress of kids/work/marriage or *insert your own here*.
Exercise for therapy (see above).
Exercise to challenge yourself.
Exercise to sleep better.
Exercise to see new places.
Exercise to see the sun come up or a beautiful view.
Grief, lack of self confidence, work pressure, the insanity of being a mummy, an annoying husband, anxiety, boredom…………………just some of the many things that exercise has helped me cope with, especially in the last few years!! It really doesn’t matter

what you do. You could walk, run, cycle, swim, skip, hop or jump, whichever it is I’m pretty sure you will feel better afterwards! 🙂
So, what does exercise mean to you?
