Mums are AWESOME

It never ceases to amaze me how bloody brilliant Mums are and how NONE OF US seems to realise it.
Earlier this week, a dear friend of mine messaged me today to say she had resigned from her marketing job at a publishing firm to do an interior design course. She has two amazing kids and has spent at least two years trying to work out what was the best thing to do for her and her family work wise. She feels excited and terrified in equal measure. She has been tormented by the endless juggling act between the two and is jumping feet first into the next

Another friend worked in one of those ridiculously high-flying banking jobs only she and her employer will ever understand and the day she got married it was announced that she was going all in on the wife front and follow her naval husband around the globe. hell of a little human. I want to clap her down the street just so she knows how awesome she is.
I don’t know how we get better at understanding our value to each other and how much we inspire the best in all of our friends but we do. I for one am going to spend the next week randomly telling any Mum that I meet how bloody brilliant she is and how she inspires me. Even if it’s just that she made it out of the house today. I am hoping for some sort of butterfly effect #inspiringmummas
