My 7-Year-old’s Superhero Birthday Party

1
Noah has just turned 7, and all he wanted was a superhero-themed party. We had almost every superhero you can find in the comic books and TV shows –Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Arrow, Wonder Woman and many more. Not only this, but some of the children decided to invent their own superheroes with unique super powers. But what else it takes to make your child’s superhero birthday party awesome? Here are 5 things all the superheroes at Noah’s party really loved.

superhero invitations. Noah put on a Superman costume, and we took a bunch of pictures of him, posing like a real superhero. We then glued the pictures to the sheets of yellow paper and added Superman’s symbol next to it.  Noah used a silver paint pen to write down all the party information for all the other superheroes. There are plenty of interesting things you can also write down to make the invitations even more interesting such as “Let’s celebrate our superpowers” or “Calling all Superheroes”.

child’s superhero party at your home but I recommend having it someplace where all the little superheroes can run and jump around without you having to worry about them getting hurt. We made our party be sort of a picnic and had it in a park where there is plenty of space for the kids to play. They used the playground as their base where they planned all the silly ways for stopping villains from robbing banks and destroying the city.

Of course, you can’t have a birthday party without some snacks and a cake. And we decided to make these

superhero-themed as well. There are plenty of superhero snack and cupcake recipes you can find online, that are guaranteed to be a real hit at your party. The fact that we had the party in the park and in summer certainly didn’t make catering any easier. Luckily, there are companies that offer mobile coolroom hire services and we were able to store all the food properly until the children were ready to take a break from fighting villains and take a bait.

festival. Stores are full of superhero-themed cups and napkins that all the children will absolutely adore. We decide to go for the ones with Superman and Batman insignia on them. My husband also came up with an idea to glue comic book pages to each of the chairs just to make the whole experience even more special. Last but not least, we had a bunch of toy weapons laying around the table so that the little superheroes have something to stop crime with.

Another thing we decided to do is come up with an activity the little ones are going

to love. Everyone knows that kryptonite can stop Superman from saving the day, so we had all the children engage in a kryptonite hunt. We found an awesome way to make kryptonite which we then hidden all around the playground. If you decide to do this, make sure there’s plenty of kryptonite for all the little superheroes to take home with them.

Our party turned out to be a real hit and Noah is already coming up with ideas for the next year’s party (he wants all the adults to dress as villains and take part in the game as well). Just make sure you
