• 1 cup shredded soap
• 1 cup washing soda
• ¼ cup Citric Acid
• ½ cup vinegar (this should be added to the rinse compartment of your machine)

Vinegar is optional, but it is necessary to substitute the use of dryer sheets or fabric softener. You can be sure that your laundry won’t smell of vinegar if you decide to use it.

Use essential oils or fragrance oils to scent your soaps. You can choose lavender, orange, lemon or other smells you like to incorporate in your natural soap.
