Still Winning Even When I’m Not

I have read so many different mum blogs and dad blogs for that matter. I feel they have helped me survive the last 3 years on all different stages of this crazy parenting journey. Now with baby number two fast approaching I am sure they are all going to help me again. It’s like I’m part of this club that says high five your doing great even when you think your doing shit. changed my out look through my darkest and happiest times and now I feel like a Super Mum.
I got lily to nursery on time every this week. Super Mum
She ate 1 pea at dinner. Go me!!
She may have ate 2 chocolate eggs before 12pm but she also ate grapes and blueberries. I’m winning!
We went to the beach even though it was freezing and I actually remembered spare clothes, as lily doesn’t care about temperatures of freezing water. Go me!
I managed to fall asleep on my husband around 2 minutes after lily went to bed and don’t even

remember getting woke up to go to bed. Best sleep ever.
I was 2 hours late picking her up from her aunties, but she has a cool auntie so life is good.
My point is you have all changed my way of thinking, that although having tiny people is the best thing in the world it’s also OK that it’s really hard, and that my way suits my family and sometimes just surviving is still winning.
