definition states so clearly –to attempt to do or accomplish. That is what I do every day as a parent, I try. Sometimes I get it wrong, sometimes I get it right and the rest of the time, I am trying.

Trying to do the right thing, trying to get it right. But as long as I am trying than I think everything is and will be ok.

I grew up as one of three, the balance and dynamics that three create is interesting. The definition of tri: a combining form meaning three. That sums up three children, three siblings wonderfully…a combining form.

When you are outnumbered by your children, divide & conquer is the main parenting strategy to deploy. However our children seemed to have been fitted with magnets, forcing each other back to within a metre square of each other and when tired, grumpy and hungry the magnets seem stronger. Yet we keep trying, trying not to fail, trying our best and as long as we are doing that, I think everything is and will be ok.
