Why I Love the Bugaboo Donkey 3 Stroller

You may have heard about this Bugaboo stroller a while now, and those who have used this stroller would have cheered together with me. Not surprisingly, the Bugaboo Donkey stroller is one of the most popular best strollers in the market, thanks to its ease of use and overall functionality.

Multi-Mode for Multi Usage

Don’t get me started – I just adore how you can transform this stroller into a multipurpose beast. It’s like screaming, “Have it your way, any way!” to your face when Bugaboo introduces it to parents who may choose to use it as a Mono stroller, a Duo stroller or a Twin stroller. How cool is that?

Mono stroller, as the name suggests, is meant best for carrying one child. You can carry your baby from newborn to toddler stage, up to 48.5 lbs weight limit in seat (from 0 to about 4 years of age). 

If you have another child along the way, you can turn the Mono into a great side-by-side stroller, which is the Duo mode! Pair a seat and a bassinet on this compact gear, and you have less to worry about the hassle of bringing your children out when you need to do some shopping.

Bugaboo Twin, on the other hand, is similar to Duo mode, except you can pair the child seats side by side, 2 bassinets or even 2 car seats. Not all strollers are capable of allowing two equally bulky pieces to attach nicely side-by-side but the Bugaboo Donkey3 stroller was made perfect for this. This is definitely a favorite model on my best double stroller for twins list!

Sweet Storage Space

Another reason why I love the Bugaboo Donkey 3 stroller is because of its storage. I like how you can access the storage basket underneath from the front or back of the stroller with ease due to its open design, yet it’s made in such a way your items won’t be tumbling out with every jostle on the path. Those using the Mono mode will probably be laughing out loud – not only do you get bottom storage space, but you can also have a side luggage bag or basket attached next to your kid for even more storage! Yes, that’s right!

Smooth, Safe and Secure Ride (to My Heart)

The Bugaboo stroller has the standard must-haves for your child’s safety and comfort including a five-point harness, good suspension and extra padding to their base seat fabric. But what I love about this all-terrain stroller is that the suspension is excellent – it feels like gliding when using the stroller. 

I wouldn’t say this is a totally lightweight stroller but this is one of the not-too-heavy strollers around with convertible options, weighing at slightly more than 30 lbs. It’s really easy to move with this, even single-handedly. The handlebar is adjustable, and the front and rear wheels are all-terrain, sturdy puncture-proof foam material, not your hard plastic stuff. 

It’s comfortable not only to parents pushing the stroller, but also comfy to the kid(s) – the seat fabric is of the breathable type, and you can fix on the sun canopy (that has a peekaboo window) for a nice ride out under the sun. Perhaps the one thing that I find lacking is the footrest, as the space is rather limited, so there is a chance your toddler’s feet may dangle.

Parents always worry about their little ones’ safety. With this stroller, you never have to worry. The Donkey3 is one durable stroller that allows plenty of room for storage and customization if you will. It is made of high quality materials that are durable and will last you years.
