What about airbags?

If you are carrying a baby or young child in the front of your car in a rear facing seat, you must must turn off the passenger side airbag. If your child is older and in a front facing child seat, then you need to turn the airbags back on but move the chair backwards to at least the middle point.

When buying a new car seat, don’t be afraid to ask for help and see if the seat you’re buying is 100% suitable for your child’s weight and size. It’s always better to be safe and check before you buy.
