A ‘Turbosnailing’ Challenge

1
Busy?

Is your daily life an endless, exhausting to-do list?

As anyone how they are and the blanket response is ‘busy!’… EVERYONE is BUSY. The B word has become a routine replacement for the word ‘fine’.

I hate to break it to you but you are only as busy as you want to be. You are CHOOSING it.

I also hate to point out (and this may be the last thing you want to hear) but that if you just SLOWED DOWN you would get more done.

Bullshit?

No. You’ve convinced yourself that if you could just get things done a teeny bit faster you

will be able to stay in control. It feels to uncomfortable to slow down, you want to keep racing around like the hamster on a wheel, stressing about how urgent things are. We all participate in the urgent, instant gratification society.

But one of the things I’ve learned, and one of the important parts of my 3 week coaching course – the REHAB RESET (https://www.rehabformums.com/the-rehab-reset) – is that you can end up getting more done if you slow the hell down.

One of my idols – Amanda Wanowski – coined the phrase TURBOSNAILING, which

essentially means slowing down fast.

As she puts it “Turbosnailing is when you take a step back and actively go super slow so you can recover and respond, and then when you move back to real time you’re no longer ground-hogging because you’re now awake and alive and present with what you’re doing”

It’s a genius technique and she’ll be appearing in a LIVE STREAM to my Rehab Reset coaching group in WEEK 2, where you can ask her questions directly… This is SERIOUSLY EXCITING and there’s no way you’d usually get access to someone

like Amanda unless you’re willing to stump up some serious lolly!

So for today, take my TURBOSNAILING CHALLENGE. Do nothing at all for 10 minutes between tasks: the harder it feels, the more you need it! Share how you get on.

In the meantime RESERVE YOUR SPACE on my REHAB RESET starting online next MONDAY.  You don’t need childcare, you don’t need to leave the house. You don’t need to struggle. All you need to do is get online at a time that suits you.
